5) What's the difference between a Shamwow towel and a real chamois?

A regular leather chamois can not absorb that much water and gets hard when it dries. The Shamwow towel absorbs 20 times its weight in water, doesn't drip when you take it to the sink and when it dries, it stays soft. Shamwow towels can also be used for household and many other uses

6) What are the dimensions of the Shamwow towels, and can I cut them? (Back to top)

The large Shamwow towels are 20 x 27 inches and the minis are 15 x 15 inches You can cut the large ones in half to use as a bath mat, drain your dishes, under your crisper to keep the veggies fresh and even make smaller ones for dish rags.

7) Will it scratch the surface? (Back to top)

The Shamwow cloths will not scratch the surface. It is made with a cloth-like material that turns into a soft leathery feel afterwards.

8) How long will they last? (Back to top)

Because it is so durable, we warranty the Shamwow towels for 10 years.
We've had reports of people having a similar product that would last over 20 years.
If anything happens within 10 years to the product, we would fully exchange the product, however, there is a $7.95 Shipping and Handling fee.

9) Will I ever have to buy paper towels again? (Back to top)

Use paper towels for some things, like as a napkin. But for everything else, such as counter tops, dishes, windows, polishing, dusting, and everyday uses, we recommend using the mini Shamwow cloths!

10) What's the difference between the large and the mini Shamwow towels?(Back to top)

The Shamwow towels are for your big spills, your big jobs like cleaning the bathroom walls, carpet stains or drying your vehicles. For wiping smaller spills, everyday spills, use the mini Shamwow cloths!

11) Can I dry sweaters with the Shamwow towel?(Back to top)

Yes. Place a wet sweater on the large Shamwow towel, roll the wet sweater tight and place a rubber band around it. In a few hours it'll dry your sweaters in half the time a towel can.

Yes. Olympic swimmers have been using it as a towel for many years. Cut it in half and you'll have 2 towels. You can use it wet or dry. That's why pet owners love them.

Shamwow cloths are made out of a rayon type of material which is woven in a certain way to make it feel like felt when you first get it new. But once it becomes wet, it will turn into a soft leathery material.
